New Prismacolor pens (art markers)
I really like these pens. The black brush pen half in particular. It's flexible at the end so it does feel like you are using a brush. The pen has two sides: one is like a regular marker and the other is the brush pen. I picked up two grey shades in addition to the black one thinking they would have the brush halves as well. But they didn't. Both halves are just two different sizes of marker pens. When I bought them I assumed that they were like the black one, so I was quite annoyed by this discovery. I examined all the pens to see if I could see any distinguishing marks in the exterior. Then I noticed a very subtle difference, much too subtle for those of us who are impatient, dishevelled from an earlier downpour and in a hurry to catch a train. The brush end of the black pen has 2 wavy lines near it; the marker end has 2 straight lines. The grey pens just have the straight bands at either end. Well, I can still use the grey pens, so I tried them all out. Think I'm starting to get the hang of them. Anyway, here are my novice efforts.
